There are two types of battles your villagers can take part in. Those battles where only Villagers are allowed, and others when your Villagers are part of a bigger army, made of infantry, gunners, cavalry and archers, each one goind to one of these types dedending on their weapon and skill.
Sending Villagers to raid or fight a clan costs gold, specifically costs 5gold per villager. Of course, those Villagers that leave to Battle stop working.

My favorite villagers are Shishimaru, Inuzuka and Kongo. Shishimaru is the only villager with high Mrk and Strategy skill, she is very good as a ranger. Inuzuka is the only infatry who can survive in the frontline while under heavy fire. Kongo has the highest Mrk and suitable skill to weild a cannon. I will pick either of them when I transfer to the 2nd game.
ReplyDelete*Kongo has the 2nd highest Mrk (after Chipan Z)
Delete*Shishimaru can't be transfered to the 2nd game *sigh*
By transferring a villager to the second game, you can have 2 villagers of the same kind. So picking Kongo seems to be the most viable choice since having more firepower is better than having more infantries.
